In a crisis or emergency? The contents of this website are not a substitute for emergency care. If you or someone you love is in danger, call 911, dial or text 988 for the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline, or go to your nearest emergency room.
The information provided on this website is for general informational and educational purposes only. It is not intended as, and should not be construed as, medical, psychological, legal, or other professional advice. Reading this site, contacting me through it, or otherwise using its content does not create a therapist-client relationship between you and Abby Myers, LMFT or Abby Myers Therapy.
While I make every effort to keep the information here accurate and up to date, I make no warranties or representations as to its completeness, accuracy, reliability, or suitability for any particular purpose. Any reliance you place on the content of this website is strictly at your own risk.
Therapy services are provided by Abby Myers, M.MFT, a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist in the states of Tennessee and North Carolina. Services are available to clients physically located in these states at the time of session, in accordance with state licensure laws. If you relocate or travel outside of Tennessee or North Carolina, we will need to discuss how that affects your care.
Results from therapy vary from person to person. While research consistently shows therapy improves life satisfaction and many clinical outcomes, no specific result is guaranteed. We will set goals together and review them regularly.
Mental health care, including the therapy I provide, is not a substitute for medical diagnosis or treatment by a physician, psychiatrist, or other qualified medical professional. If you have a medical condition, you should consult an appropriate medical provider. If you are prescribed medication for a mental health condition, please continue working with your prescribing provider; I am happy to coordinate care with them with your written permission.
I am not an emergency provider. Voicemails, emails, contact-form submissions, and other communications through this website are checked during regular business hours and are not monitored 24/7. If you are experiencing a mental health emergency, thoughts of self-harm or suicide, or any other situation that cannot wait for the next available appointment, please use the resources in the box above or seek emergency care immediately.
