Neurodivergent
Therapy Services
You are not a one-size-fits-all person, so why should your therapy be tailored to brains that are “typical”? Your brain works differently. While this can feel frustrating, it’s actually your superpower! I help clients create systems and coping skills that actually work with your brain- not against it.
Executive functioning challenges can affect everything, making your world feel overwhelming. Let’s work together to calm your brain’s storm so you can feel empowered!
ADHD & Why I do this
While I work with the full spectrum of neurodivergence, my journey began with a deep, personal focus on ADHD. I’ve seen firsthand how the world mislabels ADHD as a "behavior problem" when, in reality, it’s a complex neurodevelopmental disorder that impacts every second of your day.
As an ADHDer myself, I know the frustration of having your struggles dismissed. That’s why I made it my mission to master both the clinical and the day-to-day sides of this diagnosis. I wanted to understand why so many brilliant people feel immobilized by their own brains and why "standard" therapy often leaves them feeling like they’ve failed.
I specialize in ADHD because you deserve a therapist who truly sees the weight you’re carrying. More than that, one that knows how to help you turn that "stuck" feeling into a life that actually flows.
My work with ADHD started a deep love for supporting all types of neurodivergence, and I’m honored to help you navigate your unique path.
Nuerodivergent teens
Have you ever felt like everything is harder for you than it is for the people around you?
If you’ve ever felt like everyone else got a "How-To" manual for life that you never received, I hear you. Middle and High School is essentially a giant machine built for neurotypical brains. It’s loud, it’s rigid, and it’s filled with "hidden rules" that no one explains but everyone expects you to follow.
You aren’t lazy, and you aren't "too much." You’re just navigating a world that isn't optimized for your hardware. In our sessions, we aren’t going to try to "fix" you or your personality. Instead, we’re going to figure out:
Managing the Sensory Storm: How to handle the overwhelm of school and social life.
The Social Battery: Finding ways to connect with friends that don't leave you feeling burnt out.
School Support: Strategies for your specific brand of executive functioning (that actually work).
Self-Discovery: Understanding your brain so you can advocate for yourself with confidence anywhere you go.
Nuerodivergent adults
By the time you reach adulthood as a neurodivergent person, you’ve likely become an expert at one thing: beating yourself up. You might look at a pile of laundry, an unanswered email, or a half-finished project and think, "Why can’t I just do the thing?" You’ve tried the planners, the apps, and the "tough love" advice, yet the burnout keeps coming. It feels like you’re constantly running, yet somehow standing still.
Whether you were diagnosed at age six or age thirty-six, the weight of trying to "act normal" is heavy. I’m here to tell you that you don't have to white-knuckle your way through life anymore. In therapy, we move away from the "standard" way of doing things and start building a life that accommodates you. We’ll work on:
Work & Career: Navigating professional spaces without losing your mind to burnout.
Executive Scaffolding: Building systems for "adulting" that respect your energy and focus.
Unmasking: Giving yourself permission to stop performing and start being the person you actually are.
Relationships: Communication tools for when your brain processes information differently than your partner’s or friends’.

The short and long of it is that it’s tailored specifically to the challenges neurodivergent individuals face. As a neurodivergent person, I was always frustrated that the therapies I was trained in were made for neurotypical brains, making it harder for neurodivergent brains to feel like change is possible.
So that’s it- it’s not that it’s drastically different. It’s that it’s focused on what matters most: what will actually help you! -
Absolutely! We don’t just talk about your feelings; we look at the mechanics of your day and build external scaffolds to support your brain.

Choosing a therapist is about finding someone who "speaks your language." You need to feel comfortable enough to be your unmasked self. Most therapists, myself included, offer an initial consultation. This is a low-pressure way for us to see if we click. If you think we’d be a good fit, feel free to reach out today!
